Contact Your Legislator
Emails to our elected representatives can be a very effective tool in passing legislation that will positively impact public schools. Conversely, if there is a piece of legislation that will have negative consequences for our public schools, we can speak together with one voice and avoid the negative impact of bad legislation. When emailing your elected officials, please be kind. We achieve very little with insults and derogatory comments that are threatening or offensive. Most of our elected officials are genuinely concerned about the future of Utah. They, like us, have children or grandchildren in the public school system and care deeply about issues in education.
