UTCE Classroom Mini-Grants

The Utah Council of Educators is committed to supporting the efforts of exceptional educators both inside and outside the classroom.  UTCE is pleased to announce its annual Classroom Mini-Grant Program for the 2010-2011 school year.  At the beginning of each school year, up to ten awards worth up to $500 each are presented to outstanding Utah educators.

Use UTCE Mini-Grants to pay for a variety of projects and materials

  • Mini-Grant funds can be used for a variety of purposes including classroom supplies, materials, books, software, motivational and academic posters, audio-visual equipment, and other types of useful items for your special classroom project.

The application process is simple and brief!
Teachers will submit a brief online application describing the proposed class project, funds required, and the academic benefit for students.

We regret that we are not able to provide mini-grants to every worthy applicant.  To ensure each teacher is provided a greater chance of being considered for an award, grant recipients may not apply again within the next three school years.  The application deadline for classroom mini-grants is October 30th of each school year.  Award recipients will be notified within two weeks of the application deadline.
